The Antec NEO line is well know for what appears to the end user as a DOA/inspection issue, but is in fact a problem relating to a lot of motherboards (particularly ASUS boards) detecting what it considers an improper voltage on one of the lines while off and refusing to power up. I used such a supply as a reference/bench supply for a while, for troubleshooting client's desktops, but had to stop due to this issue. If you are looking for a good high end modular supply to power your monster gaming rig, I've had good luck with the Enermax Liberty line.
