Listing the password requirements on the login page is insecure!

Or maybe it just clutters the page.

I'm all for letting people use whatever password they want, maybe limiting it to six characters to prevent the worst mistakes, and let people punish themselves. Though, having to provide support and protect against the fallout can be annoying. I guess I'll just evaluate the situation when I actually design something for it.

I'm fluent in typoeese. I read it as "Safety against reopening." It's intended to prevent something from being opened twice.

Based on your description, it sounds redundant.

Is there a "reopen()" function anywhere? (With that name, or that does that function.)

  - or -

Can the comment be read as:
    Safety against reopen

Are there other threads running that might impact on this?

Regards,
Jim

My installations would be a little different. FreeBSD uses a port tree, so it'd be more like cd /usr/ports/web/memcache; make install clean; or something.

I'll keep these in mind. I've been thinking about them in general for a while.

I've been trying to find time to get my blog converted to Word Press. You bugged me ages ago about an RSS feed. Well, that would do it.

Got a lot of changes I want to make to my websites. Holding off on them until I graduate so I don't get distracted. Not sure how I'll find time for some of the bigger ones, but I'll figure something out.

I've been thinking about doing this same very thing -- graphing my blogging trends over the past couple of years. I'm scared to see the final result, though. :) I, like you, know I should be blogging more. It just seems harder and harder to actually do these days, which is unfortunate.

I look forward to reading more from you here.

How frustrating is this? The Seattle Police Department has a completely biased story that gets major events completely wrong (such as hiting a cyclist while backing up, which is NOT what happened).

This happens often with UPS.
You usually need to call them so they can intercept the package. It will keep going back and forth forever otherwise. There's a place in the shipping container where these can apparently get "stuck/hidden".

You won't believe what they look like when they finally arrive. I had one in limbo for about 3 months one time. When they shipped it back to me you could tell it had been though a lot.

It's my favourite browser too. And for me it's not surprising that it's so popular. The concept is catchy and perfect quality. I would say it's that kind of product which sells itself.

Ug, all the ads on mapmyride make it somewhat less desirable to use than straight up Google maps, but since I'm curious too, I'll put together a graph and post it for you.
