As far as the whole <acronym title="Uniform Resource Locator">URL</acronym>/<acronym title="Uniform Resource Indicator">URI</acronym> thing goes, the sad truth of it is, I've actually written to "explanations" and I still don't really have a firm grasp on the difference. I find myself still saying <acronym title="Uniform Resource Locator">URL</acronym> all the time, since that's what I've been calling them for the last 10 years. Creature of habit, I guess.
