Ratatouille

I just got back from Lincoln Square where I ended up watching Ratatouille with Dan. And, simply put, Pixar has done it again. Another masterpiece in their growing collection of fine offerings, I’m pretty sure that this was the funniest movie I’ve seen in a while and it left me happy and fulfilled to boot. Highly recommended!

A friend pointed out something about Ratatouille that I hadn’t noticed before.

There was only one female character in the whole movie. Her “big scene” was the “feminist nazi with knives” scene, and she later become entirely dependent on the wimpy hero.

The movie was filled with all sorts of other stereotypes, too. And that kind of behavior is very unlike Pixar. She was incredibly disappointed in the whole ordeal.

I still think the movie was awesome. But try to keep it away from feminists. They don’t like the unfair treatment that went on.
