{"id":1374,"date":"2009-01-08T02:06:41","date_gmt":"2009-01-08T09:06:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/arcanius.silverfir.net\/blog\/?p=1374"},"modified":"2009-01-08T02:06:41","modified_gmt":"2009-01-08T09:06:41","slug":"2008-resolutions-redux","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arcanius.silverfir.net\/blog\/2008-resolutions-redux\/","title":{"rendered":"2008 Resolutions Redux"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Its lime to look back at and evaluate my level of success on my <a href=\"http:\/\/arcanius.silverfir.net\/blog\/new-years-resolutions-2008\">2008 resolutions<\/a>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Be more honest with myself and \tothers &#8212; partial success. I still too often tell people white lies \tor what they want to hear rather than just being honest with them. I \tdid have some successes though, especially when I was thinking about \tthis resolution.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>Graduate Cum Laude &#8212; success! I \tfinished with a 3.71 GPA, high enough to be in the top 10% of the \tcollege of engineering, and warrant Cum Laude status.<\/li>\n<li>Be accepted into the UW CSE 5th-year masters program &#8212; Success! I was accepted and in turn accepted the opportunity.<\/li>\n<li>Fully heal right knee &#8212; partial \tsuccess. I feel totally confident in the knee &#8212; I can land jumps \ton my right leg, run down hills, lift my full body weight from a \tsquat, and so forth. However, my right leg remains weaker than my \tleft leg, and I have considerable work to do to regain or surpass my \tformer jumping or sprinting prowess, both important aspects of \tbecoming an above-average ultimate player once again. During the \tfall draft\/hat league I participating in, I was pretty disappointed \twith my performance.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in a triathlon &#8212; Success! I completed the <a href=\"http:\/\/arcanius.silverfir.net\/blog\/seafair-triathlon-2008\">Seafair Triathlon<\/a> in June.<\/li>\n<li>Get a six pack &#8212; abject failure. \tManeesh and I both lost this wager, and we each now owe a charity \t$250.
