Well, it actually had nothing to do with the <a title=\"Running over a ladder at 60 mph\" href=\"http:\/\/arcanius.silverfir.net\/wp\/intrepid-tripping\">ladder incident<\/a>. It turns out that my roomate&#8217;s car has a bit of an overheating problem. Thus:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/media\/images\/2006\/09\/IMG_1975-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Kunlun Observes the Engine\" \/> After the overheating<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/media\/images\/2006\/09\/IMG_2054-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Preparing the Wires\" \/> We got some wires<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/media\/images\/2006\/09\/IMG_2055-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"The Fan Connector\" \/> Found the fan connector<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/media\/images\/2006\/09\/IMG_2056-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Well Stripped\" \/> Stripped the wires (My Leatherman Rocks!)<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/media\/images\/2006\/09\/IMG_2062-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Cutting the Light\" \/> Cut the headlamp case&#8230;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/media\/images\/2006\/09\/IMG_2064-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Cut Headlamp Case\" \/> To allow a wire to snake in<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/media\/images\/2006\/09\/IMG_2067-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Plugged In\" \/> Plugged the wires in to the fan<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/media\/images\/2006\/09\/IMG_2068-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Wiring Job\" \/> And taped down all the wires<\/p>\n<p>So, whenever we turned the headlamps on, the fan turned on too. The result? Much less overheating.
