Friday Fasts

I’ve decided to try fasting on Fridays. As in water only; no food or juice (but gum okay). Since I don’t have classes I fugure it’ll be a reasonable time to try it out. The experience should be interesting.

    Not to dissuade you from your present plan, but the people who are into “intermittent fasting” usually fast from 1200-1200 or something like that so as to fast for exactly 24 hours. I’ve found that day-to-day fasting almost always ends up being 30+ hours due to sleep, etc.

    is this fasting so you cleanse your body? I hear it’s really good for the body. once a week? Hmmmmmm…I’d have to think that one over a bit. I have no problem whatsoever with the once a month deal…but once a week…..hmmmmmmmmm. I had a friend once who fasted every day, day long, but did eat a small dinner. I think she didn’t have much money. I don’t remember her getting any thinner so I opted to not try it. Post how it works out.
